Okay, so I was just browsing around on the internet when I found out that Meg Cabot has a brand new book coming out under Harper Collin's William Morrow Division which I find to be totally squeal worthy. Since, I loved every single one of adult series which include Queen of Babble Series (Seriously READ it!), Heather Wells Series (Again seriously READ it!), and Boy Trilogy (Amazing!).
Anyway, here's all the info I could find. Though, please do be aware that this info may change, of course, over the time between now and it's publication date.
Insatiable by Meg Cabot
A brilliantly funny modern day sequel to Dracula with the kind of twist only New York Times bestselling author Meg Cabot can imagine!
Sick of vampires? So is Meena Harper.
But her boss is making her write about them anyway, even though Meena doesn’t believe in them.
Not that Meena isn’t familiar with the supernatural. See, Meena Harper knows how you’re going to die (not that you’re going to believe her; no one ever does).
But not even Meena’s precognition can prepare her for what happens when she meets—then makes the mistake of falling in love with—Lucien Antonescu, a modern-day prince with a bit of a dark side . . . a dark side a lot of people, like an ancient society of vampire-hunters, ould prefer to see him dead for.
The problem is, he already is dead. Maybe that’s why he’s the first guy Meena’s ever met that she could see herself having a future with. See, while Meena’s always been able to see everyone else’s future, she’s never been able look into her own.
And while Lucien seems like everything Meena has ever dreamed of in a boyfriend, he might turn out to be more like a nightmare.
Now might be a good time for Meena to start learning to predict her own future . . .
If she even has one.
Coming June 8, 2010! Exicted?!? I sure am!

I heard about this a while ago, she has another book called Abandon. I think its a different one though, unless they changed the title?
ReplyDeleteLooks good though!
Super excited!! It's going to be interesting to see Meg writing Vampire/supernatural themed books. I'm sure this book is going to be just as good as all her other books! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! Very interesting!
ReplyDeleteHaha, this sounds cute :)--a fun take on the vampire trend!
ReplyDeleteThis does look good!! :) Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteDid not know about this at ALL! Thanks for the heads up! :)
ReplyDeleteOh and yes, the Queen of Babble series was fantastic.
Wow! I can't wait for the book to come out!!
ReplyDeleteI love Meg Cabot I am growing up reading here book I cant wait to read more about this !!!! Thanks for the heads up :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, this is the first time I've read a synopsis of it and it sounds AWESOME. Meg can do no wrong and I think she'll give vampire lit a good sound kick in the butt back to how it should be. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds fun. I've only read one book by Meg Cabot - Jinx - but I did enjoy it. Sounds to me like you think I should pick up another.
ReplyDeleteThis definitely sounds interesting! Great find. I love your "browsing around on the internet".
ReplyDeleteCindy- Abandon is going to be a YA paranormal trilogy. Insatiable is a completely different book that's for adults.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this! I've known about Insatiable for a while, but haven't seen a cover or synopsis. Meg is very tight-lipped sometimes about these sorts of things! I just posted it on Meg's forums so that all her other fans can know about it. I credited it to you (kinda- I just said "another blogger" since I don't want to link to somewhere where personal information can be exchanged, as it's against the forum rules). Anyway, this looks amazing and I so can't wait for it!!
