Cover Reveal: Tera Lynn Childs' Sweet Venom (and Giveaway!)

I along with over a 100 others are participating in the big cover reveal for Tera Lynn Child's Sweet Venom, a book that I simply can't wait to read, and let me tell you the cover is simply spectacular!

But the big question is are you ready to see it yet? Hopefully you are because here it is:



Now I bet you are dying to read as much as I am now, right? So, here's all the info you need to know (release date, summary etc.).
  • It will be released October 2011.
  • You can add it to your Goodreads account by clicking on this link. (You know you want to!)
  • You can become a facebook fan of the series here.
  • You can also learn more about it by heading on over to Tera's website or Tera's group blog ( Books, Boys, Buzz) to see the official character collage.
  • And here's a short blurb for it: Three teenage descendants of Medusa, the once-beautiful gorgon maligned by myth, must reunite and embrace their fates in a world where monsters lurk in plain sight.
Better yet, I have a couple of SIGNED bookmarks to giveaway.     I love greek mythology and this sounds like a really cool twist on it, which is why I'm excited to read Sweet Venom.

    Would love a book mark to go with the book I'm sure I'll buy when it comes out!

    Wow, this is the first I've heard of this one! I don't think I've read any Medusa-related books before so this is very cool. I love the title font and the way her hair kind of curls at the end, like snakes... :D

    What I love about this cover is that her hair is in a braid and it still looks good. I almost always only see girls with long flowing hair standing in wind it seems. So this is a refreshing twist. I want to read it because it sounds intriguing and because the cover and title are great.

    I am completely floored by the premise of this book. I am so intrigued by a Medusa novel. Plus I want my hair to look like that in a braid...not fair.

    I totally adore that cover. I love the way how the tip of her hair sway like that...Anyway, I feel like I'm developing an obsession over mythology more than ever, especially about Medusa, I'm sure this one is going to fit my taste ;)

    The cover looks very dark! and...I've been reading about Greek Mythology eversince I was 12 years old. I love retellings and other related stories about that. This one is one of those!

    I love the way the artist has captured the idea of a head full of snakes with the hair at the end of her braid. It seems to be writhing, even though it's hair. Also, I can't wait to read the book because it is something so NEW! What an interesting concept!

    *grabs bookmarks and runs* I really want to read Sweet Venom because the cover is much darker than Tera Lynn Child's other books, all of which I've enjoyed. And do I need to say again that it's Greek mythology? :D

    Honestly, I can not fall in love with a book's cover, but I do agree I find it mysteriously attractive. An attraction that comes from a mind that admires the beauty in things that gets appreciation without any demand or expectation. I can not agree more with this phrase,"beauty is in the eyes of the beholder".
