A member of the Writers Guild of America, Belmond has written, directed and produced award-winning television drama and documentary, for CBS, ABC and A&E; and an original children's TV series and song lyrics for PBS.
Belmond has taught writing at New York University, and was selected as a writer in residence at the Karolyi Foundation in the South of France. A Rather Lovely Inheritance is Belmond's debut novel.
