Books Read This Week:

Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage: This book won't be released until July, but after reading the first chapter the other day, I couldn't not read the whole thing. And let me tell you - this books is nuts. I couldn't believe half of what I was reading. It won't be for everyone but if you love mind-blowing thrillers, you have to check it out!

A Kiss in the Dark by Gina Ciocca: I liked this a lot more than Busted (Gina's second book)! It was sweet and fast paced. There was even a mystery component to it that made it way more twisty than I had anticipated. And the ending? I couldn't stop swooning!

One More Promise (Bands on the Run, #2) by Samantha Chase: Didn't love it as much as Chasing Christmas Eve, but it was still a fun read overall. I loved the rock star-ordinary girl pairing, and the character development was good.

Life Update:

This week was short and relatively uneventful. I had a snow day on Wednesday so a 4 day week turned into a 3 day week, which was nice.

I read a few good books. I'm currently in the middle of Road to Eugenica by A.M. Rose, and I'm enjoying it so far. On Thursday & Friday I powered through my needs-review pile & raised my Netgalley percentage by 5%. I'm getting closer and closer to 80 - hopefully by the end of March I'll finally be there.

Have a good week!

  6. Glad you liked A Kiss in the Dark. I have that one too, but am way behind you (still reading Feb releases). I look forward to seeing what you think about Cinderella and the Geek too, because I know you'll read it first.
