Review:

Wander Dust by Michelle Warren is another book that's been sitting on my eReader for the longest of times, and even though, I've been dying to read it, I didn't take the time to read it until recently. The Good? Wander Dust is an amazing book...spellbinding, intriguing, and full of magic and fun, I couldn't get enough! The Bad? Based on how great this one was, I'm now hitting myself over the head for not reading it sooner. But that's the way these things go, right?

Anyhow, there was so much I loved about Wander Dust, and one of those aspects was the characters. Sera was someone I liked from the start. She was kind and just a bit naive but also strong and determined, especially when when it came to her future. Through out the book, I was constantly rooting for Sera ....to find her place in the world, to finally get out from under her father's thumb, etc. What I liked most about Sera's character, though, was seeing her make bonds with the other characters. Her Aunt Mona was such a great lady, and it was fun to see how close she was to Sera . I also enjoyed the various people Sera meets at her new school. From Bishop to Sam to Scarlet, everyone was a bunch of fun to read about, and I especially loved the occasional evil one such as the Woman in Black.

The plot in this was a time of fun as well. When I first started this one, I didn't really know all that much about it, so I was so pleasantly surprised to see it involved time travel as well as other magical abilities. Michelle Warren did a great job of making the plot in this one was fresh and unique, and I just loved how she didn't allow it to fall into the typical paranormal cliches. The one thing, though, I really liked about the plot in this one was how little romance it contained. There's some, but it wasn't the main focus, and I have to say, I liked Sera's new life as well as her abilities being the main focus over it.

The writing in this one was also great! Michelle did a fantastic job of crafting the world in this one, and even though, I found some parts to drag a little, it was all worth it in the long run. Plus I just loved how well she described the setting in this one...it really helped to make the book come to life.

In all, Wander Dust by Michelle Warren is another great debut, perfect for fans of Timeless by Alexandra Monir! I simply can't wait to read the next one!

Grade: B+
