New in my Reading/Blogging/Personal Life:

So it's been a while, huh? Last week I had this post mostly ready to go but I was so bogged down with studying and grading and just life stresses that I didn't get to post it :( Sorry everyone! However, my horrible, huge, draining test is finally DONE and I'm caught up with grading so I'm back! If you've commented here lately, I promise I'll be returning all comments today and tomorrow!

Even though I haven't been around much this week, I did read a lot of good books this week/weekend! For one, the Phoebe Pope series (reviews linked above!). It's been so long since I've read a series as good as Phoebe Pope's, and it came THIS CLOSE to feeling the Vampire Academy sized hole in my heart. I also read Her Outback Surprise (super cute!), Holiday Spice (also super cute! But that ending? I was sobbing like a baby.), and Sparked (the PERFECT spooky, creepy October read! Check back this week for my review). I also just started Twice as Wicked and I'm loving it so far!

So many new exciting books in the last few weeks...I can't wait to get caught up on my review books so I can dive into A Semi Definitive List of Worst Nightmares. Also, with The Girl with the Red Balloon only being $1.99 the other week I just couldn't say no. I'm also super excited for Starfish. I feel like EVERYONE loves it! So fingers crossed I do too.

Other than that, that's all for this week! Can't wait to check out all your posts today. :)

  1. I haven't really been around the blogging world much either. I took a bit of a break. I was feeling really burnt out. Happy to be back and catching up on everyone's posts tho. You've got so many great sounding books this week! I love Jill Shalvis' books so I can't wait to see what you think of those. I've been stocking up on holiday romances too. I love reading those closer to the holiday. Hope you have a great week!

  6. I can't imagine saying no to a $1.99 book, but I did enjoy The Girl with the Red Balloon. Starfish is getting raves from everyone, so enjoy! I am so jealous you have another Shalvis. She's one of my faves. You have me curious about the Pope series (I loved VA and Bloodlines). I have to check it out.

  7. Wow, THAT Krysten Ritter? I had no idea she had written a book. To be honest I didn't really know her until I saw her on Jessica Jones. I hope it's good! 27 Hours looks pretty awesome too.
