New in my Reading/Blogging/Personal Life:
I got a decent amount of reading done this week! I was able to start and finish: One Night, Legend, The Bell Tolls, Killer Party, My Lady Jane, and Paintbrush. Out of all them, Paintbrush was, without a doubt, my favorite, as you can see from my Tweet below.
Confession time: I bought Paintbrush based on the cover. But the story inside? AMAZING! I laughed, I cried, & I swooned. 100% recommended! pic.twitter.com/pattvTrUHs— Lauren (@Lauren817) July 14, 2017
I'm hoping to sneak in my review of it soon!
Other than that, I continued to study for my proficiency exams for grad school. No matter how many years of school I finish, studying in the summer is always the worst. During undergrad, I took at least one class a summer term, and while I loved being ahead, trying to get myself to do homework while the sun was shining and the pool was calling my name was horrible.
