~ Play On by Marilynn Halas

First YA book from 4 Sunflowers Media. Curious to see how it is.

~ The Saint of Lost Dogs by Nick Trout

First and foremost, I adore the cover of this one. That dog is adorable! Anyhow, sounds good!

Bought:

~ Heartbeat by Faith Sullivan

Ever since I first heard about this one, I've been dying to read it! Plus Faith is an absolute sweetheart.

eBooks for Review:

Life on Loan by Adrianne James

This one sounds incredibly promising as well, and it's been getting fabulous reviews so far.

~Dirty Blood by Heater Hildenbrand

I usually stay away from werewolf books but this one sounded too good to pass up.

Physical Review Copies:

Finding Cherokee Brown by Siobhan Curham

I adored Siobhan's other book Dear Dylan, so I'm beyond excited to read this one! Plus my review for Dear Dylan is quoted on one of the first pages. :)

P.K. Pinkerton and the Petrified Man by Caroline Lawrence

Apparently this is the third in a series. I've never heard of it before, and it doesn't really seem like something I'd be interested in... so giveaway soon, possibly?

Who Done It?

BEYOND excited to read this one! Also, this is Soho teen's second book, which is awesome!

eBook Review Copies:

Radiant by Christina Daley

Contemporary with a taste of super powers...What's not to love about that?

The Bridge of Dead Things by Michael Gallagher

This is about mediums, which is a topic I feel that there's not enough of in YA/Middle Grade lit.

Somebody Up There Hates You by Hollis Seamon

This is one of the first books in Algonquin Young Readers's new teen line, and I'm beyond excited to give it a try! Seems like a mix between something Jay Asher and John Green would write.

If You Could Be Mine by Sara Farizan

Another addition to Algonquin Young Readers's line. Also very excited to read it.

The Night Has Teeth (The Magdeburg Trilogy, #1) by Kat Kruger

This one looks creepy and mysterious.

One Traveler by Alison Treat

A historical fiction read taking place around the area of PA I currently live in...color me intrigued.

Much thanks goes to Alison, Fierce Ink Press, Algonquin, Michael, Christina, Soho Press, Egmont UK, and Penguin Young Readers.

27.1.13

In My Mailbox (1/22 to 1/26)

eBooks for review:

The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen

Read it as soon as I was approved for it on Netgalley, and oh my god, it was AMAZING! I loved the setting, even though it has me craving summer even more now! The characters were great as well...charming, witty, and most importantly, realistic. The only thing I was a big fan of was the romance aspect, but I'll get to that in my official review...Anyhow, until then, you MUST add this to your wish list! I demand it!

As I Close My Eyes (Breaking Fate, #1) by Sarah DiCello

First off, Sarah's a fellow resident of PA! So yay for that! :) But anyhow, this one as well as its sequel look great! I'm especially curious about the whole dreams of another person's life when sleeping part.

As I Wake (Breaking Fate, #2) by Sarah DiCello

My Wolf's Bane by Veronica Blade

As soon as I heard about this one, I knew I had to read it! Plus it's been getting fabulous reviews.

Otherborn by Anna Silver

The cover of this one? Super creepy but eye-catching! More importantly, it's a dystopian which makes it a must read for me.

Obscura Burning by Suzanne van Rooyen

The plot of this seems really unique. A new planet forming? A person living two lives? Sign me up for sure!

Little White Lies by Erin Lawless
*no cover available*

This one contains 7 different POVs, and while I would normally run screaming from that, I'm actually kind of intrigued.

Much thanks goes to Erin, Suzanne, Anna, Veronica, Sarah, and Penguin Young Readers/Netgalley!

~The Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead

I read Bloodlines last week and thought it was superb so as soon as I'm done with The Golden Lily, I'm starting this! I'm beyond excited!! :)

~  Scent of Darkness by Margot Berwin

Ended up reading this past week. It was different but a good different. Plus the setting was kick arse! Look for my review coming  in the next week or so.

eBook Review Copies:

Georgetown Academy: Book One by Jessica Koosed Etting & Alyssa Embree Schwartz

Looks like a Gossip Girl/ A List kind of book so I'm curious to see how it will turn out. Oh and look for a fun little promotion I have for it coming this February!

~ The Office of Mercy by Ariel Djanikian

This one has been compared to The Hunger Games so that's reason enough in my opinion to why I said yes to the review request.

~ Blud and Magick by Preston Norton

Looks different! And that cover is super creepy; don't you think?

~ The Holders by Julianna Scott

Heard some pretty awesome things about this one as well! I'll be part of the blog tour for it in March. :)

Much thanks goes to Preston North, Penguin, Coliloquy, Backer Blair PR, Angry Robot, and Random House!
